One & 1/2 weeks until thanksgiving break, holla

Pumpkin spice donuts are life.
One direction has released 4 singles and they are D-R-E-A-M-Y
I've been feeling really passionate lately about being nice to people. Give them the benefit of the doubt. Don't criticize. And help a sister out. People don't need more criticism or put-downs. People need a helping hand.
My friends at school are everything to me. Michelle and I were talking about riding the tracks to the airport together for thanksgiving break. Those words came out of our mouths and we had three people offer to give us rides. I was like seriously? We didn't even have to ask, these people just care. Also we laugh a lot together and cry a lot together and I just super love them with my whole heart.
Also conversations with Ms. Reeve/Mrs.Robins/Mrs.Rossell are sooooo prime.
BROOKIE COOKIE COMES HOME TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I get emotional thinking about it.
Hard Knock Life by Jay-Z......my sisters and I lOVE this song!
Midterms are ALMOST over!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Happy tearzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)

Alpine Loop

We drove the alpine loop this weekend and it was the MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I'VE EVER SEEN! I grew up in the desert, we go on vacation to the desert, so leaves changing colors are kind of a big deal to me. Seriously the mountains are life, and God is amazing.

Also Em and I went to go see "Meet the Mormons." It was so good, and I would encourage everyone to go see it. It explains a lot about what we believe in and who we are. Also we did so well the whole movie, and then we lost it HARD at the end....typ
Also, a picture of pizza for your visual enjoyment. Pizza saved my soul this week after rad lab tore me apart. Pizza is bae, and bae knows.

All of the good+all of the bad

Where do I even begin! This past month has been the craziest/hardest month of my very little existence. And we can totally blame this on the start of Dental Hygiene school. Dental school is most definitely the best decision I have ever made, but sometimes it's so hard and overwhelming I'm like why did I choose THIS career?! And then I have a really awesome day at school and I'm reminded exactly why I chose it. I seriously love it so much. And I feel like I'm already getting the swing of things and I'm adapting, so the work doesn't seem AS bad. I've also met some of the coolest girls and some if my Clinic Instructors make the world go round I swear. And school has honestly been my life since it started, but I've made sure to do some fun stuff to stay sane....
Football games because fall, and X out that boy on the end. We don't know who he is...
Brooklyn slept over with me one night because I need her to function.
The chain till graduation...we got a while kids.
This is what I have to wear every single day. It's a love/hate kind of thing
Some weeks this is the only thing that keeps me going. Also the Draper is my very favorite. ever.
COUSINS CAME!!! And I think I could have cried! I haven't seen Matt since he got home from his mission and seriously we had the best weekend ever together. I'm now in my mourning faze because I want my people back :(
Ray Ray had a little birthday din.
Grandpa Wash did it again with those conference tickets. Forever thankful to be born into that mans family.
And Ray turned 21! And everyone should say a quick little prayer that she will get into my school so I can suffer with those I love most! ;)
And then one Friday I helped this lady jump her car and then she wrote me the most heartwarming letter and made me cookies. THERE IS STILL GOOD IN THIS WORLD PEOPLE!
And there are only 64 days until Whit comes home.
Only 55 until Sam comes home.
And only 70 until this semester is over.
As Mrs.Green would say "take a big breath in, hold it, let it out. everything is going to be OK!"

New York, New York

The week before school started I flew up for a week trip to New York. It was the best/most needed vacation ever. Also it's been YEARS since I've been to the east coast and it was so fun being back.
The first couple of days I spent at Em's house on Long Island. We ate real Chinese, bagels, pizza, and Italian ice. So good you guys!
Then we went to the beach/hamptons/lighthouses. It was magical.

It was SO GREEN there. Living in El Paso really makes you appreciate plants, and I think I said like 50 times on this trip "how do they do it here!? where does all the green come from!" It's just a real shocker for me. Also there would be parts of the road where trees would be like a tunnel and it was the most magical thing. It really is the little things.

We then went to a private beach which was so nice, and we swam and watched the most amazing sunsets. Sorry Utah, to be honest your sunsets are a real crap shoot, so whenever I see a real sunset it's the best, cause I miss those a lot.

Also holla at our missionaries. If you got this picture we love you the very most!

The next day we went into the city. Holy buildings. It's like you know New York is made up of these things, but really, it's no joke. They have the most and the prettiest buildings ever.

We went to the Shake shack. Guys best place ever. It's like one of those go to places in New York for a reason. Also strawberry milkshake. Em and I talked about it for the rest of the trip.

We went to Times Square that night and NYPD cause Castle. Also we rode the subway a lot, and I love that thing. Yea it smells gross and all, but I just weirdly love it. We also got a little baby bit confused and thought that Em's cousin lived in Brooklyn....we took the subway to the very last stop and lets just say we were the only white people around for miles and we won't ever be returning to that part of Brooklyn again. But oh the laughs!

On day four we went to Jimmy Fallon. We got in line at 5 AM and just to our luck it started pouring rain. Like pouring. So we had our friends save us our spot and we ran around Manhattan trying to find a store to buy an umbrella at. It took us forever....and the minute we walked out of the store, the rain stopped. So typical. BUT we met the most amazing people in line, and I wish to be like them when I grow up. They are from Canada and they were there celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary AND they were dentists. Em and I still talk about how awesome they are. They made that time in line go by SO fast.

Latter on we went to China Town and little Italy and got baby cannolis. S'cute right?

This city is just full of gems.

We walked the Brooklyn bridge, which I loved!

But really guys, this place is the bees knees. And the whole time I was like "soak em for crutchy!" (if you get that reference lets be bffs)

Then we went back to the studio to see if we actually got into Jimmy, and we DID! It was the coolest experience of my life. If you are ever in Manhattan GO! And after the show Jimmy ran up the side, and grabbed out hands and told us he loved our shirts. And then we started crying because it had been one draining say and it's Jimmy Fallon! One of the greatest days ever!

The next day we went on the gossip girl tour. If you are a fan put your hands up in the air for Chuck Bass. Am I right ladiessss? And I know this is a totally lame fangirl thing to do, but I don't even care.

We got to sit at Chuck Bass's bar and contemplate on our very single lives and how all we want is our own mother chucker. Good times.

We also went to Bendel's and did not plan on buying anything, cause I mean, it's Bendel's. But they were having a crazy sale, and so we got some of the cutest rings and we didn't have to pay the hundreds of dollars for them! Greatest thing ever!

We went to Grand Central Station. That place has the coolest ceiling.

We wen to tons of other places, and ate macroons, and had the grandest time. And then we did Celtral Park and went to where Chuck and Blair got married. We died. If you're a female, at least watch the GG finale because their wedding is the cutest thing on this very planet. And then we just walked around and took it all in. And it was one of the very best days.

And then I finished my trip off with donuts in the airport.
New York, you are one of the biggest dreams. I have the fattest crush on you.
New York is a crazy city. It has SO MUCH to do, and it's such a unique place. It also made me realize just how many people are out there and how blessed I am, and how noticed I am. There are just so many people out there and each person is unique and beautiful and has their own story. And there is always someone out there who knows just what you are thinking, and that is the coolest thing ever. Big cities make me realize that a lot of the time, and that's why I like them so much.
Thanks for the best time ever NY. I'll see ya soon.

August

Happy August! August?! Where has this summer gone? Where has this year gone? Time is flying by, and I'm not to thrilled about it cause I mean, school. But what do you do? I've been up to nothing really spectacular lately, but I've also been having the best time. I've been watching a lot of the Office because Jim and Pam. I love to watch their love story. My love for boy bands grows stronger by the day. I call my sisters all the time just to talk about how much I love Harry Styles and 5 seconds of summer. I've been reading the most inspirational books. Whitney told me to read "My name used to be Muhammad" and my mom told me to read "Let it go." Mind blowing you guys. Seriously I've been able to have some of the most spiritual experiences reading these books. Go read them! I bought myself some cactus friends while my sisters were here. We went on our annual Minnick boating trip. I needed that badddd. I dropped off Mads at the MTC and when I got in my car to drive away there were a lot of tears cause it took me right back to when we dropped Sam off. And then I've been working a lot which has been so good, and I've been trying to mentally prepare myself for school. I'm making progress, but I've still got a long way to go! Also I go to New York on Monday and I am beyond excited! Here I come, you little big apple, I'm so excited to meet you!
^Gomez, Pepe, and Chancho. I love these guys^
 ^My two best boating snitches.^

^Annnnnnd one last head tilt! Argentina is already in love with you Hermana. I have no doubt in my mind that you will win hottest sister award! Do us proud!^

And I'll see you all after New York!

Family

My family got to come to Utah after California (minus Emma cause EFY and my dad cause surgery calls) and it was the best time of my life.
I miss these people A LOT, so I love it when we get to hang out.
I also love that my mom will wash all of our dish towels, cut 10 years of hair out of our vacuum, and buy me so many groceries I can't even fit them all on my shelf. Thanks mom.
I also love going to movies on the football field with them, having fight nights and sleepovers every night, going shopping...a lot, eating snow cones, talking in weird accents, visiting BYU, crafting, and just being together.
I love you family, and I had the very best week with you.
Come back and visit me soooon!!!
