Fav holiday!

Happy fourth oh July weekend from your favorite family of "runners."
Lol cause we are actually not runners all, but we kind of like to think we are and we have medals to prove it. Next year, I'm coming for you 5k! (the mile we did this year was a litttttle too short for me)
And then I had to work all day, but hey time and a half.
And then we did fireworks and food.
It was a very simple fourth this year, but it was so good.
Long live America and long this holiday cause it's the raddest.
Also my temple trip this week was exceptionally good.
One of my favorite things about Utah is all the temples we have so so close to where we live. We don't have to walk across the border into Mexico just to go to the temple, and that is huge people!
Don't ever take these buildings for granted, they are the most peaceful blessings in our lives.
*Also warning-they redid the baptistery in the Mt. Timp temple. The boys and girls dressing rooms are now switched, I repeat they are switched!*

Texas is my boyfriend

I just got home from my first vacation of the summer to Texas. I was beyond thrilled to be able to go home even if was only for 5 days. Texas is one of my very happiest places ever. It's where I get to drive my truck. It's where I have to wake up and be at family soccer practice at 8 am, and it's so hot outside already you just want to kill yourself but it feels soooo good. Also I know I'm a crappy soccer player, but come on, playing against my dad takes away any pride I ever had....that man! It's where the real deal Mexican food is at. I die every time I eat those darn tacos. It's where Fort Bliss is, and it's where seeing soldiers in uniform is the total norm. I love that a lot about that city. My American pride shines though hard because of that, and it's taught me to REALLY appreciate what our soldiers do for us. It's where you are driving on the freeway and you get a mini heart attack cause if you take one wrong merge you end up in Mexico and that's just a whole other problem. It's the place where the people are so nice. I miss that every day. Southern courtesy is so real and it amazes me how down to earth the people are there. It's where the summer nights are killer, and night swimming is a must. It's where blue bell ice cream is, and blue bell is the only ice cream that really gets it. It's where 100 degrees is the usual. It's where my best friend lives, and I love how she's there every time I go back. It's where my family is. It's where I grew up, it's what taught me everything. It's so good. It's my favorite and seriously #texasforever cause that state is my best forever and ever.
^When you get into Texas the first meal you should ever eat is Taco Cabana. No exceptions.^

^Heart eyes, heart eyes, heart eyes for my pool!^

^Blue Bell. The ice cream that really understands the human mind. Yes, we do want a greater cookie dough to ice cream ratio, and that's what they give you. As it should be.^

 ^Hammocks=Heaven^

^This view from swinging in our hammock is reaaaaaal good.^

^Gracie and I ate every meal outside on our picnic table. I need to own one of these ASAP.^

 ^Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.^

^I miss this cutest face every day at college.^

^Summer nights in Texas are too perfect. I miss everything about them.^

^These trees are my favorite. Ever.^

 ^FAVORITE TACOS. HOLLA!!^

^Texas is where my sisters are=my favorite place.^

^This state man....go visit. You won't regret one second of it.^

Donut Day

It was National Donut Day last Friday. We decided to get as many free donuts as we could from Krispy Kreme, so we went three times, each time in a different car, each time we got different donuts, and they never even caught us. Best day ever.

Catch up

And lately I've been doing nothing and everything, so here is a list of all that stuff, cause I'm pretty good at writing lists:
1. Packages from my mom and sisters
2. Lunch dates
3. The donut truck/donuts in general
4. 7 peaks
5. Temple trips
6. Reading the Book of Mormon in Spanish. It's easier than you'd think!
7. Ice cream is not my fav, but Cinnamon buns ice cream from Ben&Jerry's, thank me latter
8. I finished my dental packet and turned it in!
9. I played soccer for the first time in forever. It felt gooood. I also need a coach to help me beat my 9 year old sister....
10. The bachelorette
11. Ward softball games. We are the best cheerleaders ever. And I hate how competitive I am
12. Anything and everything mango flavored
13. Lots of letters from my two bests, Whit/Stace
14. I get to go HOME!!! It's only for 5 days, but I don't even care. I love you Texas!
And now pictures:
^Seriously guys.^

^Our new ward is way cool. They support us in our main cheer roles on the team, and still let us eat hot dogs with them after.^
^I cannot and will not ever get over this view. I mean come on, the church is so true, it's not even funny.^

H-U-N-T-E-R H-A-Y-E-S

We all bought tickets for Hunter Hayes in February, and then finally we finished finals and got treated with this gem of a concert. And I'm sorry not sorry for all of the fan girling that will be going on in this post. Also cowboy boots. I miss Texas.

The first opener was Dan+Shay. They are amazing and I hope you all go listen to their album cause it's amazing. Also Dan is hot and Shay is short, but I still love them both.

Then Danielle Bradbery opened. She is probably one of the cutest humans to walk this very earth.

And then there was Hunter....Hunter, Hunter, Hunter. First of all forgive all of my blurry pictures, but I was a little too excited and he was jumping all over the stage and never standing still, so ya know. But isn't he the cutest?! I want to take him home.

I touched him like three times, and he totally looked into my eyes while singing Wanted. So basically we are in love, it's fine.

Also let's talk about the fact that Laurie won a meet n' greet with Hunter! I still can't believe she won....I never know people who win things cause I have the worst luck ever. Maybe my bad streak is running thin (sorry Stace, you got the worst of it.)

I also loved how he got emotional. I don't know what it is about a man that is not ashamed to show his emotions, but Hunter let them shine! Our show was his first ever sold out tour show and he was freaking out. It was adorable, duh. After a song he would just stand there and look at us and be like wow, this is really happening, this is real life. And then me and all the high schoolers I was surrounded by would scream and almost cry with him. It was precious, he was precious. I'm in literal love guys. Moving on...

Real talk: one of the best shows I've ever been to. If you ever have the chance to go to one of his concerts-GO. Hunter is a party and a half but he's also exceptionally inspirational and says things during his concert that make you leave and your like "Yea, I am the coolest person ever, and so is everyone else, and this life is awesome and I'm happy!" It's a good time, and every woman should find a husband like Hunter. He's amazing and knows how to treat a woman. And also his new CD that's coming out should be the greatest thing since double stuffed oreos. Thanks for being you Hunter, you made a lot of girls dreams come true that night.

And then we got to meet Dan and Shay. Holy hotness. And it was the best night ever guys. Like really. And it was 10 times better cause class is over and summer is here.
Long live country music.

Easter Week

So last weekend we went to the Bijou Market. It was fantastic. I'm glad I have friends that will go to cute things like this with me. Also the art city donut truck. To start off donuts are my favorite food, so come onnnnn, this stuff was amazing!

And then this week my favorite little Rachel came into town. We went on a much much needed CafĂ© Rio date and then Mandie got us free Starbucks cause Mandie is awesome!!
And then the next day we went to seriously every dang grocery store in Provo because we wanted the caramel Cadbury eggs. No one sells them in this dang city, expect for Maceys! But it was the best Easter egg hunt I've ever been on. I'm so glad that Rach is planning on going to the same dental school as I am, cause we are BCFF. (best cousin friends forever) And she is my other half and always will be. So kill it up there in Idaho RayRay and I will probably come visit every week during the summer. Ok bye.

Brooklyn and I went on a little night hike because finals week is hard and boys are stupid. Like seriously, boys need to be more polite and learn how to treat girls the way they deserve. And on the other hand boys need to back off. If the answer is no, the answer is no. Gosh we vented hard, and it felt good.

And last but definitely not least, Happy Easter! I am so thankful to be a part of this church. I am also so grateful for Jesus Christ. I cannot express enough how much better your life can be if you will rely on Him, put his will before yours and really have him be your best friend. He has done so much for each of us, and learning more about Him makes you more grateful for His sacrifice. If there is one thing that I've learned at college and has made into a better person it is that Jesus lives, he lives and he loves each and every one of us. And most immortally he is always there. No matter how alone you feel, he is there, and that in itself is life changing.
