H-U-N-T-E-R H-A-Y-E-S

We all bought tickets for Hunter Hayes in February, and then finally we finished finals and got treated with this gem of a concert. And I'm sorry not sorry for all of the fan girling that will be going on in this post. Also cowboy boots. I miss Texas.

The first opener was Dan+Shay. They are amazing and I hope you all go listen to their album cause it's amazing. Also Dan is hot and Shay is short, but I still love them both.

Then Danielle Bradbery opened. She is probably one of the cutest humans to walk this very earth.

And then there was Hunter....Hunter, Hunter, Hunter. First of all forgive all of my blurry pictures, but I was a little too excited and he was jumping all over the stage and never standing still, so ya know. But isn't he the cutest?! I want to take him home.

I touched him like three times, and he totally looked into my eyes while singing Wanted. So basically we are in love, it's fine.

Also let's talk about the fact that Laurie won a meet n' greet with Hunter! I still can't believe she won....I never know people who win things cause I have the worst luck ever. Maybe my bad streak is running thin (sorry Stace, you got the worst of it.)

I also loved how he got emotional. I don't know what it is about a man that is not ashamed to show his emotions, but Hunter let them shine! Our show was his first ever sold out tour show and he was freaking out. It was adorable, duh. After a song he would just stand there and look at us and be like wow, this is really happening, this is real life. And then me and all the high schoolers I was surrounded by would scream and almost cry with him. It was precious, he was precious. I'm in literal love guys. Moving on...

Real talk: one of the best shows I've ever been to. If you ever have the chance to go to one of his concerts-GO. Hunter is a party and a half but he's also exceptionally inspirational and says things during his concert that make you leave and your like "Yea, I am the coolest person ever, and so is everyone else, and this life is awesome and I'm happy!" It's a good time, and every woman should find a husband like Hunter. He's amazing and knows how to treat a woman. And also his new CD that's coming out should be the greatest thing since double stuffed oreos. Thanks for being you Hunter, you made a lot of girls dreams come true that night.

And then we got to meet Dan and Shay. Holy hotness. And it was the best night ever guys. Like really. And it was 10 times better cause class is over and summer is here.
Long live country music.

Easter Week

So last weekend we went to the Bijou Market. It was fantastic. I'm glad I have friends that will go to cute things like this with me. Also the art city donut truck. To start off donuts are my favorite food, so come onnnnn, this stuff was amazing!

And then this week my favorite little Rachel came into town. We went on a much much needed CafĂ© Rio date and then Mandie got us free Starbucks cause Mandie is awesome!!
And then the next day we went to seriously every dang grocery store in Provo because we wanted the caramel Cadbury eggs. No one sells them in this dang city, expect for Maceys! But it was the best Easter egg hunt I've ever been on. I'm so glad that Rach is planning on going to the same dental school as I am, cause we are BCFF. (best cousin friends forever) And she is my other half and always will be. So kill it up there in Idaho RayRay and I will probably come visit every week during the summer. Ok bye.

Brooklyn and I went on a little night hike because finals week is hard and boys are stupid. Like seriously, boys need to be more polite and learn how to treat girls the way they deserve. And on the other hand boys need to back off. If the answer is no, the answer is no. Gosh we vented hard, and it felt good.

And last but definitely not least, Happy Easter! I am so thankful to be a part of this church. I am also so grateful for Jesus Christ. I cannot express enough how much better your life can be if you will rely on Him, put his will before yours and really have him be your best friend. He has done so much for each of us, and learning more about Him makes you more grateful for His sacrifice. If there is one thing that I've learned at college and has made into a better person it is that Jesus lives, he lives and he loves each and every one of us. And most immortally he is always there. No matter how alone you feel, he is there, and that in itself is life changing.

The best of the best of the best

Ok seriously this past weekend has been the best of my entire life. Like no joke. This past school year has been hard. It's been long, and its been very challenging. There have been days after days that everything just goes wrong. I finally feel like I've made it. I made it through this year full of let downs and hardships, and finally this weekend has paid off. So here we go!
Last Friday SkyeLyn and I met up with Travis at the Bountiful temple. This was my first time going and it was awesome. This temple is huge/beautiful. Also having friends who can baptize you is the literal best thing. College rocks my socks off time after time because of the people I've met. Lets be friends forever ok guys?

Car selfie for the win cause we have the BEST GRANDPA IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!! I'm not even kidding. This man is my rock/one of the biggest examples to me in my life. He used to be in 70, and so he now gets tickets to every session of conference. Me and Mandie were able to go together and I will forever be grateful for my grandpa. The way he has lived his life has in turn blessed my life so so much and I am just so happy he is mine.
*Disclaimer*-we are the first grandchildren to convince him to give us his tickets even though we don't have boyfriends. Beating that system right and left ;)

I know this is blurry, but guys come on! We were so close to these amazing men, it blew my mind. If you EVER get the chance to go to conference, go. If you ever get the chance to sit way up close seal the deal and DO IT! Life changing people! I can't even tell you how powerful it is to have Elder Holland get up to the stand and rock such a power house talk sitting right there in front of him. If you aren't Mormon you should seriously consider it cause it is the greatest part of my life and it could be the greatest thing to happen to yours.
Also remember that one time Elder Cook brushed my shoulder as he casually walked by/that time that we were 10 inches away from Elder Oaks and almost got a selfie with him. Nothing can compare to that day of conference. I am truly blessed and learned so much in one little day.

Also Mandie is a gooood time. If you don't have a Mandie in your life you could maybe borrow mine for a day cause she is literally a party and half and I would not survive without her.

Ok, this is where is gets really real.
I.Got.Into.Dental.Hygiene.School.
My grandma called me on Monday April 7 and said "Hey Sara we got a letter here for you, you might want to come open it!"
I was surprising so calm when opening it and then I saw I got in and I kid you not I had to read it 10 times before I believed it. We then proceeded to freak out/jump up and down in a giant group hug. My grandparents are like 19, I love it. Gosh, I've worked hard to get where I am, and I am so blessed to have this opportunity, to go to this dream dental school of mine.
Like really? I'm a big kid!!
It feels so good.
And seriously guys, THANK YOU. I have never felt so much love/had so much support in my life before. I don't know why I'm surrounded by the best people. I don't know what I ever did to deserve it but I am so happy every day because of it.
And then I got a job that I really wanted and then everything was good. For once this year everything fell into place and I know that hard work pays off. Never ever ever give up on yourself and more importantly never give up on God. You will go through hard times. There WILL be bumps in the road, bumps that are sometimes years long. But you see it's after you push through those times and instead of having them tear you down, having them build you up that you really find out who you are and how strong you are. And then one day you will see the sunshine and you will know, you will know that everything works out/happens for a reason. And the best thing you could ever do for your life is never giving up. It really makes the difference. Trust me, I know.

End of March!

^Classic Utah spring time festivities. And props to our photo bomber, it took us a day to notice he was there! ^
Also I caught (SkyeLyn fought off like 20 other girl to get this for me) Tim Dobbert's ball at the volleyball game. Seriously who invented men's volleyball? It's like the sport of the Gods. We like to think we are BFFs with the whole team....who knows, maybe one day.
Also March is OVER. YAY! And now it's April, and I am sooo excited. April is already turning out to be crazy busy, but I am so excited for it (mainly because that means this semester is over!)
And Hilary Duff is  currently recording her new album. I'm already in love with it. She knows what a girl needs in her life. Am I right?
And Tucanos should really start thinking about selling take out of their mango codfish cause I would kill for that rn.
And yes, it snowed today, and no I'm not even mad. (I'm totally kidding, I think a tear ran down my face today.)
And I still don't understand why there are not rainbows in Utah. I think Texas steals them all.
Last but not least, this weekend is going to be killllller. Go out and do something F-U-N.
