Wisdom!

10 Things I have learned lately:
Number 1: If you make these cinnamon sugar muffins everyone will LOVE you forever and always.
Number 2: If you want to get a husband fast at BYU, be in a science major or in a marriage class.  I think that my PDBio class is like 95% male. My chem class is probably 85%. And my marriage and family class is 50%.
Number 3: It can snow allllll day long in Utah. Did I know that was even possible? Never! But Utah showed me whats what.
Number 4: My chem teacher sucks at teaching.
Number 5: Engaged roommates have got to have "most annoying people in the world" in the freaking bag.
Number 6: Working out is the best thing in the world.
Number 7: I would seriously die without my iphone. That thing is a savior.
Number 8: If you listen to the song Primadonna Girl, it is guaranteed to be stuck in your head for the rest of the day. Maybe even the whole week.
Number 9: Smoothies are my best friend in the whole wide world.
Number 10: Easy A is one of the best quotable movies ever.
And those are 10 fun facts of pure wisdom that I have learned lately.

Drum Roll Please!

Dear Sister Easter you are hereby called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You are assigned to labor in the Alabama Birmingham Mission. You will prepare to preach the gospel in the Spanish language.
RACHEL GOT HER MISSION CALL!!! After a loooong hard wait she finally opened it! I am so excited and completely proud of this girl for serving! Living in the south for 18 months and teaching the gospel is going to be an incredible experience for her. (and yes I will be totally jealous when her winters will be as cold as 60, and I am here in freezing Utah!)

Oh and I just wanted to thank the maker of hot tamales. You are indeed a genius!
And look! My amazing mother sent me a Valentines package :)
What would I do without her incredibly creative self? I wouldn't get the cutest valentine packages, that's what!
*Can't wait for next week when my big sister gets her mission call!*

Ice-tastic

Ok let us be so thankful that someone recorded today's ice extravaganza. So I started off being one of the railing people, trying to hold onto the side and not fall down. Yea, well it didn't work out to well and I totally slipped and ended up like the kid sliding down on his butt. It was freezing cold, and super slippery, but it was one of the funniest moments EVER. Thank goodness SkyeLyn and Rachel were there with me, cause that made it 10x funnier. And I can now say that the ice and snow has gotten the better of me, and has made me totally biff it. Well played Utah.....well played.

3 day weekends!

3 day weekends are the best ever! In fact they are so great that Rachel and I celebrated by eating the last two Twinkies on earth ;)
On Friday night so many festivities went down. One of them was a midnight run to In-n-out after the dance party. This is becoming a definite tradition for us before we have our sleepovers with 1102. And it is one of the greatest traditions we have established yet!
And here is pretty much the best group ever at the black light party. Gosh we party hard ;) I loooooove these black light dance parties soooo much!
Then on Saturday night, Rachel and I went to the mens volleyball game. Heaven help us. These games are amazing. Not only is our team totally fantastic and beat the #1 team in the nation, but yes it is true....we saw them all shirtless! It was kinda an amazing moment in our lives. Like we are totally not creepers or anything, but before the games starts and the whole team is changing from their warm up shirts into their jerseys, ya know that we cant help but love seeing these tan and fine chiseled bodies! And so for my love of the game, we will attend as many of these games as possible. And I am dead serious when I say that is my reason for going!
Oh and then we went to church on Sunday and all that jazz. And we watched the Holiday. So good. And we started doing roommate dinners on Sunday and so rachwood and I made Dominican food and I think it turned out good! Then on Monday we stupidly tried to go to the Draper temple, which yes. was closed. Then we got Chinese, worked out, went to FHE (and tries to fake barf our fhe bros...fail), and then we went over to kenny, tanner,steven....yea their dorm and we watched Glory Road, which is about El Paso....so what up! And that was how my grand 3 day weekend went down. Now I am back to the grind of tests, homework, and endless chem!

And We Are Back

I made some muffins, and they were good.
I wore my Texas shirt and got some much needed Jamba Juice.
Annnnnnd we are back. School is in full swing, and I have got such a messy desk to prove it! I like being in school, I really do. I like all my classes so far. And I even though I am not too fond of chem, I am not totally hating it so far, so that is a major bonus. I got a free mug on campus today, and we all know free things make me oh so happy! Well I already have a test in the testing center that I have to take by Friday. And don't tell anyone but I actually love the testing center. Taking test there makes me happy. Strange I know. Oh and props to me for getting my roommates TOTALLY hooked on the bachelor. I begged them to watch it with me, and now they are totally obsessed. And by totally obsessed, I hope you really know that they are in love with that show. It is so funny how much they get into it! Well here is to a grand 2nd week of school. Lets have a beast of a 3rd week, and a littttle bit warmer of a 3rd week :)

Blah Blah Blah

This is me and my best friend Katherine. Isn't she adorable? ;) We kinda love snap chat. In our books it is the greatest. What would we do without each other?
Well this weekend consisted of:
1. Watching as many chick flicks as we could (how to lose a guy in 10 days, easy A, bride wars, and 17 again.)
2. Getting Rachel's "boyfriend" pizza she owed us. (and it was dang good)
3. Making orange roles and orange julius
4. Hanging out with Erik and Daniel
5. Apartment hunting
6. Rachel Wood and I sang in the CES devotional choir. And yes I did look totally ridiculous, but oh well.
7. Worked out/did some yoga with rachwood
8. Took care of Rachel Easter in her time of sickness
9. Completely froze because it is soooooooo cold outside!
10. And I was talking with Stacey and she is staying for spring so we are going to room together! So excited!

I Don't Understand Utah

Today was the best day ever. And as horribly sad as this sounds, it is because the sun was shinning and it was 21 degree outside. Gosh, that is such a sad thing to say. Utah is crazy. It's weather has been in the negatives lately and I have not been too happy about it. I love this place, but I do not love it so much when it is so cold outside I think I might die. But look on the bright side. I am back with all of my favorite people! It is going to be a grand semester because we have like 5 birthdays in our dorm, it is going to be valentines day (and don't get any ideas. I am just excited to do fun things with all my girllllll friends), Kendra is getting married....that crazy child, and towards the end of this semester it is not going to be freezing anymore!
And might I say that it was an adventure coming back. I was helping Rachel scrap the ice/snow/icicles off her car. Then her car died. Then we got a littttle lost and had to drive on a church sidewalk for a little bit. Then we finally made it to walmart and went through the secret cart area to get to our car. Well Utah It is good to be back. Please don't freeze me!
And look, Rachel and I got naked ;) I know I know, real mature. But sometimes you just gotta do it!

Girls of #1103

Well here is our wonderful dorm video that we had to make for ward prayer at the end of last semester. It is probably funnier to us then it is to anyone else  in the world, but hey mind as well share the love right?

Happy New Year

Here is to the best year I could have possibly imagined. Seriously, even though I had my bumps in the road, I was able to graduate High School with dignity and have an amazing summer. House boats+lake powell+amazing cousins=the best times I could ask for. Then I headed up to good old BYU and had the most amazing semester of college that I think was possible. This year might have started off a little ruff, but it definitely paid off in more ways than I could ask for, and for that I am grateful. Lets have another smashing year 2013!
So for New Years Eve we did a 5k. I have no idea why but doing a 5k has always been on my bucket list, so I was so excited. This run is on scenic drive and seriously the view was amazing. I felt super healthy doing a run while the new year rolled in, and we sure are going to make this 5K new year run a tradition!
Well, here is most of the group. My whole family and the Westman's whole family did it together. And Erica: my goal for next year is going to actually be able to run with you the whole race! :)
Then after the race, we all went to IHOP (and it was my first time!) And it was good.
Oh and I almost forgot, the Robalin girls came over for Pei Wei and games while are parents went out to dinner. It was grand. Then we watched Harry Potter, and I won't even go into that because as lame as it sounds, I get very sentimental about that show.
{SO HAPPY NEW YEAR!}
