I'm a lucky little snitch sometimes

Me and Em took this time she is in Utah to do LOTS of cousin bonding. We went on a temple trip, we went to a men's volleyball game, we went out to lunch, and we talked and talked and talked.
I'm so lucky. So lucky to have my family as my little best friends.

Also ^^^look^^^
My Sister Minnick is my home girl 4ever. If there is one person who will win the title of "my best friend forever and all eternity and my twin and my soul mate" it would be Whitney Minnick.
And why she is so perfect will always be beyond me.
Also I got to email chat with her a like 5 minutes ago, so that was a real treat.
I love you my little Spanish speaking twinner.
And I may or may not have cried watching her "chili" video because I got to hear her VOICE! I died.

And then lets talk about all these things that no one will care about, but me probs...
1//Em and I conveniently were in the Anatomy hall today just chillin and low and behold two angles came upon us and wanted to ask us questions about LearnSmart. (Here is where the angel part comes into play) Since we were so cooperative and gave such good feedback (I'm sure) they gave us free café rio gift cards. Like come onnnnn.
2//Today was weirdly warm, but now there is snow on the forecast. Kill.
3//We found a new place to live! And we like it a lot.
4//I'm almost done with my dental app. I can see the light!
5//Brooklyn and I went to the 11 o'clock church instead of our wards due to Brooklyn's tragically busy schedule. It was completely refreshing to go to a different ward. And we even got hit on by boys and got to sit with little Nate who quizzed us on an arm muscle in sacrament meeting. Don't worry, we semi nailed it.
6//Baileys cousin let us babysit her baby! We got to stare at/hold the chubbiest baby for like 3 hours. We were in heaven. And then Meagan had her baby so I got to go hold/meet him.
And everything has been going a lot better lately. And I'm really happy this is how things are.
I'm lucky for a lot of different people that make my life kind of awesome. Thanks peeps.
Lets all pray that this week stays hoppin and pray that that package can get from Guat to Provo.

I miss ya Stace girl.

I took this picture in honor of celebrating "wildlife shirt Wednesday" but I mainly took this picture to send to my Stacey.
I miss my Stace girl so so much, it's not even funny.
Sometimes I get real antsy and I literally contemplate buying a ticket to the Philippines just so I can see her face and hear her voice.
Every one should have a Stacey in their life in my opinion.
She will always sleep in the same bed with you. She will always share a pork salad with you. She will always tell you how hot you look. She will always car dance with you. She will always lay on the floor no matter where you are and try to outdo you by saying the stupidest things and get into the biggest laughing fit ever. She will always mess up the black rice and take you to chick-fil-a 10 minutes before it closes. She will always be your temple date. She will always have your back, like forever. She will always write you a billion letters, even when she is a million miles away cause she cares. She will always tell you her deepest secrets, but of course you'll have to tell you hers. She's the best friend you will ever have.
And every time I would wear this shirt she would say, hey Sara, let's go find me a wolf shirt.
So in other words, she's my soul mate. No one has ever seen this shirt and wanted one so badly.
And once you bond over a wolf shirt, there is no going back.
So Stace, thanks for being my pal forever.
I literally can't wait till you come home and Whitney and I can caress the heck out of your face! (1 year and 47 days to go!!!)
Love you bby girl.

Can we have every Monday off?

We decided to go hiking on our day off. Utah is seriously the most beautiful place. I like it.

Also we literally found crystal snow. It was crazy + this picture does not do it justice + I am forever mind blown.
Also as of lately....
We went swimming in January guys! Like in an outside pool and it wasn't even uncomfortable. Can I get a what what!
I think my internal water works are still on hyper-drive thanks to the season 3 finale of Castle.
I feel like literally all I do with my life is school, homework, application stuff, and go on target runs. And I'm not even mad about it.
Two of my missionaries told me they are sending me packages. Come on guys, can my friends be any cooler? I don't think so!
Also, dried mango. I'm addicted and proud of it. Future husband: the amount of dried mango that will flow through our house will be heavenly.
And lets all start using our 11:11 wishes for the greater cause of letting this earth start to warm up.
That is all.

Ughhhh

Yesterday was literally the worst day ever, so we decided to go to the Draper Temple cause it's my fav and I love being there. It did make things look up. But I'm also so thankful for the people I have in my life that make me happy. And I was going through old letters and stuff and I came up with these quoted from my favorite people to boost my spirits. So the following are more for me than anyone.

"So. I may or may not be in love with you. And by that I mean I'm in love with you." -Bailey

"As long as you know that I count myself very lucky to have you for my friend! I admire you very much!" -Brooklyn

"You're awesome, do you know that? Keep taking those baby steps, they mean more than you know!" - Aaron

"I know that the Lord is molding you into such a strong and amazing person. I love you so much Sar bear!" -Stacey

"Sar bear! Well hello radest person ever. I love you Sara Middle Name Washburn. You are beautiful! I miss you, and I love you, and pray for you! Te amo." -Whitney

"I'm one of the luckiest people to know you. And you are gonna have a freaking incredible husband and he will be the luckiest man in the whole wide world. And your children will be beyond adorable." -SkyeLyn

"You are so smart and talented. I love you so much and I think the world of you. You've made my life so much more enjoyable. I couldn't have asked for a better friend and cousin." -Rachel

"You're my #1 cousin, I love you!" -Matt

"I love you Sara! I seriously have the best family ever!" -Brittney

"You are seriously the best. I just love you to death. I'm so blessed with an amazing family. Wait until I get back to get married please! I want to be there!" -Lindsey

And every dang day I am so thankful for these people. The people that make me feel so much love. I love all of YOU so so much.

Life is the best thing

This is Mandie. She's the best. She will ask you all about your crushes and tell you how awesome you are. She also is hilarious. I laugh the hardest around her. I'm so happy that my cousins are my best friends.

As you can see Mandie and I take life very seriously. But really we just love each other and take loooooooots of selfies when we are together.

Last Friday we went down to the Smith Field House to watch our other cousin Nikki throw. She throws shot put for Uof U and she's the best. Like seriously, she threw the best she's ever done before that night and broke a Utah record, so our cousin is famous, it's whatever. And then we went out to dinner with her fam, and holy cow. I seriously wish everyone could have a family like mine. They are the greatest people on this planet. I can't even tell you how fun it is to hang out with them, you just have to do it for yourself. We should just throw a family party and invite the whole world. And obviously it will be held at Lake Powell.
Then I got to go to the temple! It was weird not going over winter break and I'm glad to be getting back into this weekly routine because the temple is my place.
Sometimes life can be a little bit hard at times. But come on, it is also so good. And I love it, I love every second of it.

Yes.

So I went to the waffle store the other day. I just don't even understand who invented waffles but I just want to write them a personal thank-you card.
Also this week someone told me to be happy. They said you be happy and you be grateful that you get to go to this school. And I said yes sir.
I was kind of bummed out about starting another semester, and then I realized, gosh I'm so stupid, this could be my last semester at BYU.
BYU has kind of been my dream school since I was born, and I made it! I got in and I go here, and I love it. And it's really sad sometimes when I think about leaving. And I know I'll still live here and probably still study on campus all the time, but not having classes at the Y will be weird. And so this is my long way of saying how I've decided that this is going to be the best semester of my life. Yes, sir, this will be the best and you can count on it.

Well

Christmas break happened. Here's how it went down:
I went home to Texas and obviously the first thing I did once I hit the ground was eat some Taco C, because how else would one live life? Then we were just Christmas prepping and all that jazz. And then the day came and we gave each other our "funny" pajamas and did all the Christmas eve festivities. And then on Christmas we got to Skype the big sister which was possibly the highlight of my life! To hear a missionaries actual voice is like Christmas all in itself.
Please take note of one of Gracie's finer creations. The two huge red candies are his rosy cheeks. Duh. Also, can I be Gracie? She's like the coolest human ever.
Oh my gosh. No one will ever understand the pain we go through as children with Christmas card making at my house. My mom literally hand makes every single card. Every single year. People raveeeeee about our cards, and so when this year she came and she just wanted to print them off, my dad convinced her that "everyone will be so disappointed when we don't make them." IF THEY WILL BE SO DISSAPOINTED THEN YOU MAKE THEM DAD! So, here we are, 19 years of life, and I got to be a part of yet another Christmas card making season. All I can say is if you have never experienced the joys of double sided tape, go buy some now and thank me latter. (I accept treats in the form of gift cards and cupcakes.)
Then we got to go to AZ for my cousins wedding. Future husband, take note. I would like to live in this state one day. Let's make that dream a reality and be tan all year around ok!?
Oh and I kind of love my sisters like a lot. If you are ever in need of a god time, or a good Frozen singing sesh, we can easily hook it up.
And if you must peer into a little corner of my heart for a hot sec, this is what you must know:
I am eternally in love with the heat. Summer is like my favorite thing in this very world.
Cloudless blue skies are like my second favorite thing in this whole world.
And road trips, yea I'm a big fan. You have no idea how much I love to drive while listening to Tim McGraw. It's like the greatest joy ever.
And then I was fortunate enough to get my wisdom teeth out. And I was so so weird on the drugs my friends. (NEVER DO DRUGS KIDS!) And don't even worry, it was all gotten on video. I just can't really post it because I make some terribly embarrassing confessions. Mainly about males. And I'd rather not publicly embarrass myself, so that's that. And so this picture of my dog will suffice for my New Years picture, because trust me, you didn't want me taking pictures of myself that night.

And now today was the first day of school. I wasn't feeling to hot about another semester, and so soon after the last one too! But of course all of my professors said something profound that smacked that attitude right out of my head. So lets do this winter semester. (just don't snow too much and there will be no tears! promise!)
