The best of the best of the best

Ok seriously this past weekend has been the best of my entire life. Like no joke. This past school year has been hard. It's been long, and its been very challenging. There have been days after days that everything just goes wrong. I finally feel like I've made it. I made it through this year full of let downs and hardships, and finally this weekend has paid off. So here we go!
Last Friday SkyeLyn and I met up with Travis at the Bountiful temple. This was my first time going and it was awesome. This temple is huge/beautiful. Also having friends who can baptize you is the literal best thing. College rocks my socks off time after time because of the people I've met. Lets be friends forever ok guys?

Car selfie for the win cause we have the BEST GRANDPA IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!! I'm not even kidding. This man is my rock/one of the biggest examples to me in my life. He used to be in 70, and so he now gets tickets to every session of conference. Me and Mandie were able to go together and I will forever be grateful for my grandpa. The way he has lived his life has in turn blessed my life so so much and I am just so happy he is mine.
*Disclaimer*-we are the first grandchildren to convince him to give us his tickets even though we don't have boyfriends. Beating that system right and left ;)

I know this is blurry, but guys come on! We were so close to these amazing men, it blew my mind. If you EVER get the chance to go to conference, go. If you ever get the chance to sit way up close seal the deal and DO IT! Life changing people! I can't even tell you how powerful it is to have Elder Holland get up to the stand and rock such a power house talk sitting right there in front of him. If you aren't Mormon you should seriously consider it cause it is the greatest part of my life and it could be the greatest thing to happen to yours.
Also remember that one time Elder Cook brushed my shoulder as he casually walked by/that time that we were 10 inches away from Elder Oaks and almost got a selfie with him. Nothing can compare to that day of conference. I am truly blessed and learned so much in one little day.

Also Mandie is a gooood time. If you don't have a Mandie in your life you could maybe borrow mine for a day cause she is literally a party and half and I would not survive without her.

Ok, this is where is gets really real.
I.Got.Into.Dental.Hygiene.School.
My grandma called me on Monday April 7 and said "Hey Sara we got a letter here for you, you might want to come open it!"
I was surprising so calm when opening it and then I saw I got in and I kid you not I had to read it 10 times before I believed it. We then proceeded to freak out/jump up and down in a giant group hug. My grandparents are like 19, I love it. Gosh, I've worked hard to get where I am, and I am so blessed to have this opportunity, to go to this dream dental school of mine.
Like really? I'm a big kid!!
It feels so good.
And seriously guys, THANK YOU. I have never felt so much love/had so much support in my life before. I don't know why I'm surrounded by the best people. I don't know what I ever did to deserve it but I am so happy every day because of it.
And then I got a job that I really wanted and then everything was good. For once this year everything fell into place and I know that hard work pays off. Never ever ever give up on yourself and more importantly never give up on God. You will go through hard times. There WILL be bumps in the road, bumps that are sometimes years long. But you see it's after you push through those times and instead of having them tear you down, having them build you up that you really find out who you are and how strong you are. And then one day you will see the sunshine and you will know, you will know that everything works out/happens for a reason. And the best thing you could ever do for your life is never giving up. It really makes the difference. Trust me, I know.

End of March!

^Classic Utah spring time festivities. And props to our photo bomber, it took us a day to notice he was there! ^
Also I caught (SkyeLyn fought off like 20 other girl to get this for me) Tim Dobbert's ball at the volleyball game. Seriously who invented men's volleyball? It's like the sport of the Gods. We like to think we are BFFs with the whole team....who knows, maybe one day.
Also March is OVER. YAY! And now it's April, and I am sooo excited. April is already turning out to be crazy busy, but I am so excited for it (mainly because that means this semester is over!)
And Hilary Duff is  currently recording her new album. I'm already in love with it. She knows what a girl needs in her life. Am I right?
And Tucanos should really start thinking about selling take out of their mango codfish cause I would kill for that rn.
And yes, it snowed today, and no I'm not even mad. (I'm totally kidding, I think a tear ran down my face today.)
And I still don't understand why there are not rainbows in Utah. I think Texas steals them all.
Last but not least, this weekend is going to be killllller. Go out and do something F-U-N.

It's all good

Seriously guys, we are in love with our major. I mean there are times when you want to pull your hair out and give up, but the good times totally outweigh the bad.

Also BABY GOAT!!! I never even knew how precious they were, but then I met little baby thor and died a little. He is the cutest and I love him.

I like my friends a lot. They are the best. I also love 4 wheeling with them and eating hot dogs. It's always a good time.

Also I love my missionaries. I really really really miss my Whitney Minnick. Today I got her email and I was rushing to class and so I read it really quick and she told me how she just send a letter.....you know the usual goodness. I then got back from the longest day of school and she had written me another email that said, "I just want you to know that you are great. I LOVE YOU!!!"
And as simple as it was, this second email made my day.
I love YOU, Hermana Minnick.
Come back soon cause I'm dying without you.

Happy Early Birthday Whit!

Here is how this story went down:
Last spring Stace and I were sitting on our mega bed eating cinnamon life (with no milk) and watching wedding videos and stuff like that.
Then we came across some birthday videos for missionaries and Stacey turned to me and said,
"if you give me one thing on my mission I want it to be a birthday video." And I so I crossed my heart and then I thought Whitney needs a video too cause she's the third corner to our love triangle. And so I came up with this idea and a huge thank-you to Shanoah who helped me put it together (I couldn't have done it without you) and this is what we came up with.
So happy early birthday Whitney. I love you times a billion and I can't wait till you are HOME!

*Also peanut butter froyo. Like holy freaking, that's some good shiz.

Guys it's getting warm outside

We went and visited our favorite person the other day. It was lots of laughs + hugs + and spiritual moments. This man will always be #1 to us. He's the guy who can literally pick up all the pieces of your life when they are all falling apart. He's the one who tells you how awesome you are and how amazing your future is going to be. He's the guy who tells you make out allllll the time and probably would want to witness those first kisses if he could. He's one of the only adults up here that genuinely cares about your life and everything that's going on. We love you Bish, we love you forver and ever and thanks for being our BFF. You rock.

On another note: Let's please talk about this weather we have been having. It's been so great. Also if someone sneezes you should bless them. And for your benefit every Saturday has $1.29 mozz sticks at Sonic. Like why have I not known about this so far? My life is forever changed.

Midterms are over, lets party!

Let's venture back to my birthday for hot sec. We had a piƱata and it was lots of fun. I love my friends for just going with the flow on my birthday. They are trooooopers.

Also thanks to my friends for making this day awesome. I couldn't ask for better people in my life, I really couldn't.

"Oh my gosh guys it's so nice outside, lets go do our homework outside!"
We then proceed to go outside and totally don't do hw. We read and eat girl scout cookies and bask in the glory of the sun. It's a good time.

My fav Sister B purchased her very first wolf. I don't know who was more excited, her or me!
P.s. isn't she one of the cutest human beings you've ever seen!?

And now midterms are over for like three weeks until they start again.
Sometimes college makes me want to drop out of life and ruff it in the mountains of Lake Powell.
But other times I loooove school and don't get me wrong I am blessed to be here.
And last but not least everyone should just go out and have a jam sesh to J. Biebs. (like the old good stuff, not the new stuff.) And that is all.
